The Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science institute (CTSI) is excited to be hosting a 4-session lecture series on community-engaged research.

Sessions include:

  • Foundations in community-engaged research: Rational and theory – September 5, noon eastern time
  • An introduction to photovoice as a method aligned with community-engaged research – October 3, noon eastern time
  • Citizen science: A novel and emerging method for knowledge generation – November 14, noon eastern time
  • Recruitment and retention of “hard-to-reach” populations: Successful strategies to increase the participation of Latinos in research – December 5, noon eastern time

Target Audience: Open to all interested in attending this educational activity.

Fee: There is no registration fee for this activity. However, due to limited seating, pre-registration is required on line at http://nwahec.org/52918.
