More than 40 UNCG students and staff planted flowers at the entrance to Steelman Park in the Glenwood neighborhood and cleaned up garden beds in the community garden on April 25. The service project was completed in collaboration with the Glenwood Neighborhood Association and Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department.
Reflecting UNCG’s motto of service, resident assistants, professional staff and residents living in Tower Village, Jefferson Suites, Spring Garden, Lofts on Lee and Spartan Village participated in the project as a way to contribute to the community they call home.
