The UNCG Alumni Association’s Spartan Legislative Network will once again be hosting the Greensboro Municipal Candidate Forum on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6-8 p.m. in the Virginia Dare Room of the Alumni House.
Moderated by UNCG alumnus and longtime WFMY anchor Dr. Lee Kinard, the Q&A event is free and open to the public and will include community updates and discussion on a number of pertinent topics and critical issues facing Greensboro. With the City Council elections just a couple weeks away, the event is a great opportunity for voters to meet the candidates and learn more about their plans for the city’s future.
