The Department of Kinesiology and the Program for the Advancement of Girls and Women in Sport and Physical Activity welcome two Irish scholars to UNCG campus February 21st-24th to talk about Community-Based Participatory Research and their development of the “All Island, All Active” program.

Dr. Fiona Chambers (University College Cork (UCC) in Cork, Ireland) and Professor Deirdre Brennan (Ulster University in Belfast, Ireland) will be working with many undergraduate and graduate students, as well as engaging different community partners, focusing on their scholarship around.

In addition, Dr. Chambers and Professor Brennan will also be conducting a focus group interview on Motherhood and Physical Activity. The focus group will be held Monday, February 22 from 3 to 5 pm. If you are interested in participating in this focus group, please click here to sign up.
