UNC Social Entrepreneurship Conference
The UNC System of Higher Learning will host the UNC Social Entrepreneurship Competition and Conference on February 11, 2015. Teams can compete for cash prizes, $5,000 for first place graduate students ($3,000 for undegraduates), by proposing business development plans. The deadline for proposals is October 15th, 2014. North Carolina Forward Conference
The North Carolina Forward Conference will be held on February 10, 2015, in conjunction with the UNC Social Entrepreneurship Conference. Ten-member local innovation councils, comprised of policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, community advocates, educators, and students should register by January 30, 2015.
