Get to Know Us

Merve is a PhD student in the Special Education program at UNCG. She received her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education -Early Intervention from the University of Florida in 2017. While she was taking doctoral-level seminars at UNC-Chapel Hill, she became interested in community-based participatory research (CBPR) for children and individuals with disabilities. She has been involved in many research projects and completed her internship at American Institutes for Research (AIR) as a Doctoral-Level Researcher. Merve is passionate about becoming a researcher and aims to contribute significantly to the field of education through her work.
