Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?”

The annual MLK Day of Service at UNCG on Monday, January 19th is an opportunity to answer that question and to strengthen our community through service. Every year dozens of UNCG students are able to connect with community partners and honor Martin Luther King’s legacy by volunteering throughout Greensboro.

MLK Day of Service is a fun event full of energetic people looking to make this a day on, not a day off. Please come with “a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love” as Dr. King would say.

This will be a half day of service and transportation to service sites will be provided. Please expect to volunteer from 9:00am-1:30pm.

To register please complete the following form. You will be able to indicate your preferred area of service.

Contact Kali Hackett at k_hacket@uncg.edu with any questions.
