The UNCG School of Music, Theatre and Dance presents its annual Collage Concert Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Aycock Auditorium.

Collage 2014 is the kick-off event for UNCG’s university-wide Globe and Cosmos series, which celebrates Shakespeare and Galileo on the 450th anniversary of their births. Collage also kicks off the new academic year for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance.

Collage features a diverse range of performers, presenting one work after another without pause. Special lighting enhances the experience and directs the audience’s attention to performances in multiple locations around the auditorium. Over 300 students from the school will perform, along with many faculty members. It’s a non-stop evening of virtuosic performances.

In 2013, Collage was completely sold out, so plan to purchase your tickets in advance (all seating is reserved). All proceeds benefit student scholarships in the School of Music, Theatre and Dance.

Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Triad Stage Box Office, by phone at 272-0160, or online at http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?pid=7798058. The box office is located at 232 South Elm Street.
