The Journal of Public Scholarship in Higher Education (JPSHE) is calling for papers for their Volume 6 (2016). Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis; however, for consideration for the 2016 volume, submissions must be received no later than March 11.
JPSHE showcases the new disciplinary knowledge and pedagogical practice generated when faculty, staff, students, and institutions engage with communities. In doing so, the journal promotes community engaged teaching, research, and service as forms of public scholarship. As a refereed academic journal, the primary authors and audiences are faculty, staff, and administrative leadership in higher education. JPSHE aims to stimulate dialogue about the ways that community engagement affects the nature and scope of faculty work, and, in doing so, transforms our disciplines and institutions.
