Would you like to learn how to create awesome animations, digital stories, or video games?  Come to our first Scratch Day at the UNCG SELF Design Studio!  Free and open to the public!

Scratch is an design and coding environment that makes it easy for people to create their own interactive stories, games, animations, and simulations – and share their work with other creators in an online community. Scratch Day is a worldwide network of gatherings designed to bring the people in this community together to meet, share, and learn with Scratch.

Students (Grades 3-8), teachers, and parents who are new to Scratch or have been using Scratch a while are welcome to participate in this event. Students must be accompanied by a sponsoring teacher or adult. Sponsoring adults may bring up to 3 students.

If possible, please bring your own Mac or PC laptop. We will have some laptops available for use. There is also a version of Scratch (called Scratch Jr.) that works on iOS and Android tablets. All versions of Scratch are free to download and use.

Participants must pre-register. Attendance is limited to 20 participants, so sign up today!
