The Institute is celebrating the great University of North Carolina at Greensboro showing at the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) Conference in New Orleans earlier this month!

Drs. Sharon Morrison and Erica Payton, professors in the School of Public Health, presented scholarship on a Collaborative Approach to Justice Oriented Evaluation in Public Health Education. Dr. Marcia Hale, professor of Peace Conflict Studies, presented scholarship from the P2 supported Community Placemaking Action Lab Team centering the town of Princeville, NC. We are so grateful for these community-engaged scholars extending their work to the field and offering clear examples for pathways in community-engaged research, teaching, and creative practice. Additionally, the team in the Institute had the opportunity to share about our on-going community-engaged oral history project to be included in the UNCG Institutional Memory Collection.
