Attend the City of Greensboro's Consolidated Plan Public Meeting

Every 5 years, the City of Greensboro is required to prepare and submit a Consolidated Plan (ConPlan) to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), in order to receive Federal funds for housing and community development work.  The ConPlan documents the type, scale, and distribution of needs within the City; identifies strategies that will be used to address those needs; and sets goals for reducing those needs over the next 5 years.  Greensboro’s 2015-2019 ConPlan must be adopted by the City Council and submitted to HUD no later than May 15, 2015.

To engage you and your fellow Greensboro residents in developing the ConPlan, the Greensboro Planning Department has scheduled a Public Meeting where you can:

  • Learn more about the Consolidated Plan,
  • Build your understanding of community needs in Greensboro, and
  • Share your ideas about how the City can help meet those needs!
